The new appointee takes on the role of studio head at 31st Union following the dismissal of previous head Michael Condrey, who was removed from his post due to Project Ethos' disappointing unveiling last fall.
Recently, 2K president a key figure informed employees about this organizational change through an official communication, which stressed that playtesting had indicated the need for a clearer direction.
The president stated that the team is now reimagining the project with a renewed focus, aiming to address player expectations.
A Pattern of Key Recruitment
The news follows a comparable move taken by the publisher in August, when they recruited Rod Fergusson from Blizzard to assist with the BioShock development group.
