Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really happening.
